Why Thank someone?

Have you ever wondered why we actually thank people? I recently applied for a job and was told that we as an organisation thank people all the time!

I have not heard back from the employer but I was very impressed by this comment!

I have been in certain conversations with friends and others who comment on how many times I say thank you as if it's not a nice thing...this puzzles me as I was bought up to mind my manners constantly...I do honestly believe that through my life, being polite has been more of an advantage than being unpolite.

I have tried to polish my manners to a high standard and they are something I like to use almost as a tool...I know they are appreciated and to be polite makes me feel good...Manners Maketh Man, I believe that to be true...who wants to be around someone who is ungrateful...call it old-fashioned or fussy but good manners make someone shine out in a crowd and very attractive!

Be a lovely person, that is perfectly okay and say Thank you...its just polite after all 🙏❤️😉😘
