On Yorkshire Day 🌞

Dear Reader
Of course today is a day on which to celebrate Yorkshire and all things Yorkshire present and past...so we went out for a gentle stroll and a drive and can you believe it...the sunshine actually came out for Yorkshire Day! It may not have stayed long but it was definitely spotted and enjoyed by all us Yorkshire folk!

I took a picture of these beautiful cauliflowers and I must confess my mind took to wondering about how delicious they would be coated in cheese and breadcrumbs and a hint of mustard and parsley...im now making myself extremely hungry and planning tea!

And dear reader as the sun came out to play just for a little while...we drove up to Ingleby Woods and although the ground was rather boggy and not the best for white trainers...we ventured a short walk into the beauty of nature that is right on our doorstep here in Yorkshire!

We were just admiring the beautiful trees and something caught my eye and we saw just a little hop and then a little frog jumped across our paths...he was obliging enough to let me get a photo of him before I put him back down and he hopped off along his way into the woods!

What a lovely treat and a reminder to be very careful where you step when out in nature...I would never have forgiven myself if we had trod on him by accident but I'm glad that I'm observant and our little friend is happily hopping around the forest!

A little brave Yorkshire 🐸!

Dear Reader, I wish you a happy afternoon and wherever you are in this beautiful world...I wish you joy and happiness.
Love from Yorkshire ❤️
